PCPSce is pleased to announce a joint workshop with COST Action 23143 Prayticipate, to be held at the Boekentoren in Ghent on 17–18 September 2026.

The workshop will bring together members of both Actions to exchange ideas, identify common research interests, and develop future collaborations.

Hosted in the manuscript rooms of the Boekentoren, participants will have the opportunity to engage with the library’s manuscript and printed book collections.

… explores the role of prayer in shaping religious, social, and cultural life in late medieval and early modern Europe, developing new approaches to understanding prayer as a participatory practice that influenced imagination, devotion, and collective experience.

The workshop will provide a platform for exploring the intersections between these themes and the research agenda of PCPSce.
