Who are YRIs in the COST Actions?

Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) in COST Actions are individuals under 40 engaged in research and innovation, benefiting from networking, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
COST supports YRIs through Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) for international collaboration, Conference Grants for exposure at high-level events, and Training Schools for specialised skills. These initiatives promote mobility, leadership, and interdisciplinary exchange, empowering early-career researchers to contribute to scientific advancements while expanding their professional networks across Europe.
Objective:
The main aim of the YRI Team is to encourage the intensive and active participation and involvement of young researchers and innovators in the COST Action Print Culture and Public Spheres in Central Europe (1500–1800). We strive to foster inter-generational exchange between senior scholars and YRI, especially from the ITC countries. We are committed to contributing towards training the new generation of early career experts in the field of early modern print culture.
We will coordinate all YRI activities and promote networking among YRI and across the COST Action. We will also edit and produce a YRI-Blog with input from our YRI network. The YRI team will play a significant role in organising the various summer schools planned by our Action and will encourage the participation of YRIs from within the Action as well as researchers who are not members of the MC.
